По-притеснителното е, че ще се имитират облигации за финансирането на големи инфраструктрни проекти като магистрали, летища, пристанища и прочее. Практиката досега показва, че именно по подобни проекти се наблюдава най-голямо отклонение на средства или чисти корупционни практики. А пенсионите фондове ще бъдат стимулирани да инвестират точно в тези облигации. Дали това не е врата за източване на парите от пенсионните дружества изцяло за сметка на бъдещите пенсионери?

Дали подобна стъпка не е твърде рискова в условията на една финансова криза и то с неуточнен изход дори времево. 

"В крайна сметка, няма нищо лошо правителството да прокарва добри идеи в последния момент, макар и като част от предизборната си кампания."  - пише авторът. Според мен обаче това е поредното хващане на последния влак и няма нищо с добрите идеи. Изглежда отиващите си управници се опитват като за последно да подсигурят пари за съмнителни инфраструктурни проекти. Много ми прилича на пакета от закони, които администрацията на Клинтън прие месец преди изборите в САЩ, за да узакони създаването на СитиГруп и освобождаването на инвестиционните банки и кредитирането. Нещо, което стои в основата на Финансовата Криза.
